Internal Audit Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations;
– Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans;
– Obtain, analyses and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc;
– Achieve team and individual budgets and business plan/ performance objectives;
– Manages project financials, including budgets, timely billing and collection and variance recognition;
– Maintain the highest technical and professional standard;
– Think strategically about department needs by understanding their business and key risks;
– Addresses situation before they come crises and develops solutions to avoid recurrence;
– Monitor and control auditing staff;
– Takes a leadership role in professional, business or community organizations;
– Coach, train and develop auditing staff to upgrade their knowledge;
– Be seen as a role model for auditing professionals;
– Undertake wider office activities, as require.
REQUIREMENTS
* Qualification
– Degree of Post degree Qualification – at least 3 years management experience;
– Recognized Audit or Accountancy Qualification;
– Additional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA… is a beneficial.
* Experience
– Professional accounting / audit / finance qualification;
– Leading edge risk management knowledge and expertise;
– Relevant industry experience;
– High attention to detail and rigorous logical thinking ability;
– Good team player, who can win and maintain the professional respect of the team.
* Competencies:
– Encourage auditor involvement in office and other professional meetings outside the project;
– Understand the Audit Committees and BOD expectations;
– Strong technical background;
– Work with management to ensure audit program covers all major risks the organization faces.
